Este é um caderno de curso de caligrafia, da década de 1880, sendo este referente a segunda lição do curso, preenchido por um certo estudante Paul Albright. Mais de 120 anos de história e esta quase impecável, com apenas um pequeno rasgo na capa, como voce pode ver na foto. 24 páginas, 22 x 28 cm.

This practice book with sample lessons has been completed by the student, Paul Albright who signed his name to the front cover. Book is in overall good condition. Front cover has chips on three corners. Rear cover has two smaller corner chips. Some age staining to covers. Book is 8.5x7" and 24 pages. Any streaks or bands of light on the image are a result of my scanner malfunctioning and are not present on the original. So here's a great gift for somebody with interests along these lines! Or it would make an interesting addition for your library/collection, as it's an informative read. And what a conversation piece, it's guaranteed to be something you can talk about and show to friends and family.

Este é um interessante livro antigo e raro, um tratado sobre caligrafia norte-americano, edição de 1927, intitulado Palmer's Penmanship Budget - Revised Edition, contendo um curso completo de caligrafia spenceriana e zaneriana, que era então o mais pratico e popular sistema de ensino para escrita inglessa, ou copperplate. Estas caligrafias, além de exóticas, são sumamente belas. 136 páginas. medindo 21 x 27 cm. Capa brochura, com pouca densidade, e dois pequenos rasgos, afetando apenas 2% da area total. Uma ou duas páginmas levemente danificadas em seu interior, mas nenhuma faltante. Além do curso propriamente dito o livro traz dezenas de ilustrações de gravuras caligráficas, esboços para desenhos de pessoas, monogramas, e, o melhor, alfabetos completos, do gótico ao romano. Obra completa e imperdível para colecionadores.
This is a rare and magnifical book titled: Palmer's Penmanship Budget - Revised Edition, containing a complete course of instruction in the most practical and popular system of business writing now extant. A collection of specimens of business writing and the twice this gems of Pen art by America's greatest Penmen and teachers. The book has 136 pages. The front cover has small edge tears and a small to 1 inch split to the bottom of the spine. Also the first five pages have some heavy tears along the page edges. Also the last page 136 is three quarters detached, but the rest of the middle pages appear to be ok with some really interesting penmanship illustrations, techinicals, samples and complete alphabets.
